Q: Please elaborate on your choice and position...
A: I believe that a lack of an educated populace has led to the latest in a parade of ignorance in government and society. We have all of this technology and ideas but can we truly do what’s best for the society of today? Our statistics speak for themselves in terms of where we are in the world standing. Civics, social sciences, essential math and English along with a foreign language need to be focused on until high school age when the child or children can decide to go to a technical school or a more broadened educational system.

Instead of force feeding facts for memorization we need to ensure that the students learn to adapt to new situations in learning and the problem(s) they may face.
