Q: Please elaborate on your choice and position...
A: As the Dems and GOPer’s have been in charge since the Civil War, it seems to be a no-brainer that we’re past the need for a third party. The dog and pony show needs to come to a stop and we need some leadership that will get some things done, I mean really accomplish something instead of the constant kerfuffle and outrage in DC! Why don’t we have term limits on the Senate ? Why is the SCOTUS still a lifetime appointment? Why do we tolerate the constant stream of unethical and incompetent actions?

A: Partisanship and tribalism has ruined good government for everybody. Party over country is a recipe for disaster and how did we let the top 2 parties take over so much control of our elections, our candidates and government

Q: Please tell us a brief example of what position you would have us take?
A: Being a centrist, free-thinking party should have some form of articulation on the aversion to polarization. Being a haven for the middle, and outlet for discourse, is something’s that should spur on the MWP to higher planes of debate. To fully articulate I’d suggest the something along the lines of the following.

The MWP stands against political polarization. The extreme black and white perspectives presented by majority thinkers leads to a divisive battlefield in the government. The taking on of these positions as identity has discouraged debate and promoted the representation of the elite. In the empowering of the free-thinking citizenry, the MWP stands for beneficial discourse and reason for the purpose of protecting the rights of the individuals the government is supposed to represent.

A: All of the topics can make progress with the tackling of political polarization. The channels opened through the overcoming of polarization would start all other issues in dialogue which, if handled correctly, would benefit the people.
