Q: Please elaborate on your choice and position...
A: I vote based on who is most likely to buck the corruption caused by the two-party system. I will vote for a viable third party candidate whenever one is on the ballot.

Q: Please elaborate on your choice and position...
A: The current two-party system is no longer serving the people of America. The two dominant parties are now self-serving and dominated by special interests and extreme agendas. This has fomented corruption in our government at almost all levels, as elected and civil servants cater to everyone but their own constituents.

Q: Please tell us a brief example of what position you would have us take?
A: Healthcare has an enormous impact upon federal and state budgets (taxes & spending), and is a major driver of our economy. We cannot solve our tax & spend issues, or encourage proper economic growth without addressing the 15,000 lbs elephant in the room; healthcare.

A: Gerrymandering is the root of the crisis gripping the US House of Representatives, and many state houses as well. It feeds polarization, and destroys bipartisanship and compromise.

A: We cannot move forward if we continue to fight about our views. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if someone doesnt agree with you that doesnt make them a bad person. We should all be able to have a civil discourse as long as the person isnt attacking us personally or spouting hatred.

A: I have been a student of history and of foreign affairs since i was a young boy growing up on tales of WWII and seeing the nightly news during Viet Nam. I’ve eaten stories of the Cold War for breakfast since the age of 12. And i watch these fools commit us to policies and situations that any one with an 8th grade education should see are NOT places we should step into lightly. Afghanistan – we are not the first great power to find it is easier to get in than leave. Now we have some that threaten intervention in Venezuela?!? With our history of involvement in Latin America? We are fools to for even letting these words leave our lips!!! There are a multitude of ways to respond to events…not everything needs to be a “threat” There are time when we should say “This Shall Not Stand”… but currently we seem to have a number of individuals who have NEVER stood that line, and seemingly do not even have no grasp of history… or the ability to see things through the lenses of other places, peoples and cultures to realize the impact careless words have.

A: I am concerned that we have such a sad choice in so many of the elections. It seems that only the most far reaching candidates make it through primary selection by appealing to the far wing of their party… to then make poor choices in general elections. And the worst of it is… how many really caring and deserving people will simply not run AT ALL because of the way the election process runs every single person through such a mud filled wringer that any sane person would simply decline to put their family and their personal honor thru such a spectacle.
