Q: Please explain your answer here.
A: In the role of leadership, the options chosen are all throng and each have their place, but the one universal trait that affects, and should be present, in all leaders is integrity. From a firm foundation of integrity the other traits can firmly stay in place so the politician remains transparent in all thought and action.

Q: Please explain your answer here.
A: A leader must have a goal, should have a plan to achieve that goal, be able to organize resources to achieve that plan, have the ability to lead human resources to achieve the plan, and control the process. A leader that prioritizes and develops pertinent, prioritized and achievable goals, based upon business, societal needs and etc. will develop a reputation as a credible person with integrity and good character. Say what you mean and do what you say.

Q: Please explain your answer here.
A: A politician who only pushes the agenda of their party and who will not negotiate with the other party or parties is a drain on our nation.

Politics is give and take. Not just take and take. So being able to negotiate is very important. If the person negotiating can get what they want, or at least a large portion, while making concessions across the table/aisle, they’ll be able to build trust with the people they’ve been elected to govern and generate goodwill with the legislative bodies who write the bills.

The last decade has seen a “my way or the highway” mentality that is detrimental to the nation.

A: If a Person doesn’t have Integrity they have nothing. Politicians should be held to a higher standard and have compassion for any political job they do. Most of all they MUST believe and tell the truth. A great work ethic is essential. They must serve the People.
