I agree with the dues payment, but I would also recommend making dues tiered. Making the dues system reflect what a person is able to afford is a common practice that I have seen in other dues paying organizations. While $25 may not seem like much some, for college students or lower income people, it is. Just a thought.

I definitely think there needs to be an amendment limiting term limits for Congress. As for the three presented in this article, I like all of them, but I think getting ratified, the go from hard, harder, hardest. The judicial appointment one isn’t so bad, but the “Natural Born Citizen” and ERA amendments would be difficult to pass, at least at the moment.

I don’t believe higher taxes de-incentivizes work. There have been higher taxes in the past, and it didn’t make people less inclined to work. See the 1950’s and the Eisenhower administration: http://federal-tax-rates.insidegov.com/d/a/Dwight-D.-Eisenhower. Just my two cents.

I support passage of the American Anti-Corruption Act -- model legislation designed as a standard for action to blunt the corrupting effect of political contributions at the the local, state and federal level.

I believe lobbying and ethics laws must be reformed; political fundraising must be transparent and donors must be publicly disclosed; and a system of citizen-funded elections must be installed.

I endorse all efforts to reverse the Supreme Court's decisions in the Citizens United and McCutcheon cases, and pledge to do all I can as a citizen to return control of my government to the hands of The People.

The Modern Whig Party of America does not accept donations from corporations, unions, or special interest groups.

We are funded directly by volunteers and grassroots supporters. Please consider a small contribution today!

Q: How often do you vote?
    A: Every election, every year.

    How often do you vote?

Are you a cafeteria voter? Do you pick and chose what to vote in? Or do you vote in everything from county dog catcher to President of the United States?
