You have a proven and provable history and a centrist platform that people will gravitate too. You (I guess I should start saying we, huh) have an established network (however small) to build momentum, locally at least. Yet I see not one of our (see I’m figuring this out) people spreading our message through outreach or campaign. If this is the extent of selling the brand that you can accomplish close up shop now. I will suggest first and foremost engaging the social clubs, VFW, Eagles, Elks, Sons of (pick a country), American Legion. Such groups should be agreeable to our platform, inexpensive to engage and because of their communal nature if you enlist 1 to our cause they will enlist others. Second, engage public services. Police, Fire, Public Works even, for much the same reason as the above groups. Our efforts will compound much more quickly dealing with groups of like mind. Third we must initiate educational programs to teach our citizens about their government. Our current educational system is ridiculous in this arena. If a person wishes to become an American Citizen they are given the knowledge of what we require and expect of our fellow citizens. How do our own citizens gain this knowledge? By osmosis? There is not to my knowledge an in depth immersive discussion of our form of government in our educational system until late in high school or worse yet college. Can any of us say we truly have a firm grasp of the constitution and bill of rights? I’m betting very few of us even those that are currently elected can speak intelligently on anything but a minor portion of those documents and that is the very basis of our way of life! So in closing, I am willing to help but without some evidence of a political pulse I believe that we will remain outside looking in, right there in the dust bin of history. Let me know how I can help.

I support passage of the American Anti-Corruption Act -- model legislation designed as a standard for action to blunt the corrupting effect of political contributions at the the local, state and federal level.
I believe lobbying and ethics laws must be reformed; political fundraising must be transparent and donors must be publicly disclosed; and a system of citizen-funded elections must be installed.
I endorse all efforts to reverse the Supreme Court's decisions in the Citizens United and McCutcheon cases, and pledge to do all I can as a citizen to return control of my government to the hands of The People.

Thank you for your interest in The Modern Whig Party of America! By joining one of the fastest-growing independent political parties in the country, you'll give us the opportunity to keep you informed not only of our party's activities, but also many of the key political issues and policy questions of the day. We think you'll quickly find us both a great platform for civic action and a valuable informational resource.
After completing the signup form you'll be redirected to our Donate page. While we rely primarily on the volunteer efforts of our members and leadership to achieve our goals, we do need some funds to accomplish some of the basic tasks every political party needs to do in order to compete. We hope you can make a small contribution -- the price of a cheeseburger at your local restaurant, or a takeout pizza on a Friday night -- to support our initiatives.
Once again, thank you, and we look forward to working with you to make our country, and our world, a better place -- for all of us.Sign up
